Here are some Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Can I stop by or make an appointment to get my Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC)?
A: We only offer FSC testing as an optional service at our training classes. We don't do FSC testing by itself.
Q: I just purchased my first handgun, or I plan to purchase my first handgun. What is the best training course for me?
A: Our Basic Pistol Shooting (Pistol I) Course is a great place to start. This is a very comprehensive course for first-timers with no experience, and also for those who have some experience but have never taken any formal training. If you have not yet purchased your first firearm, and do not yet have your FSC, this course covers most of the FSC test material as part of the course curriculum, and you have an option to take the FSC test right after the class while the information is fresh in your head. But your training journey only begins there, and you may also find interest in our Defensive Pistol Shooting Skills (Pistol II) Course and our Concealed Carry Shooting Skills (Pistol III) Course.
Q: Do you offer private or individual training?
A: Private or individual training is not available at this time. You can find our upcoming group classes here.
Q: Do you offer Shotgun or Rifle training?
A: We only offer handgun training and CCW training at this time, since that is where the huge majority of the demand is. We offer three levels of handgun training (Pistol I, Pistol II and Pistol III). The CCW training that we offer is for the non-resident Utah permit. This Utah CCW Course also meets the training requirement for the Arizona permit.
Q: Do you offer training for the California CCW permit?
A: We currently do not offer training for the California CCW permit. The CCW training that we do offer is for the non-resident Utah CCW permit. This Utah CCW Permit Course also meets the training requirement for the Arizona CCW permit. The UT and AZ permits are not honored in California, but allow you to legally carry a concealed handgun in about 30 other states, so these permits are beneficial to California residents who travel to other states and would like to be able to legally carry in many of those states.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
